A Supportive Place to Begin Again
Starting recovery can bring uncertainty, fear, and plenty of questions. At Living Light Recovery, you’ll find a welcoming residential environment where you can take the first step with dignity, encouragement, and support.
When you arrive, our team takes time to understand your history, current circumstances, and recovery goals. We use this information to help determine whether our program is appropriate for your needs and to develop an individualized plan for your stay.
You’ll settle into a comfortable residential setting where staff are available around the clock to provide support, structure, and encouragement. When appropriate, we coordinate with licensed healthcare professionals who independently evaluate your needs and determine whether additional services, referrals, or prescription medications are appropriate.
That program runs at one address — 7320 Rockridge Road, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509 — not a Norco storefront. DHCS license 330247AP, expiration December 31, 2027.
Why Norco families call this house
Norco’s horse-community identity does not change clinical facts: alcohol and opioid withdrawal can still be medically dangerous. We will not admit someone who needs a hospital. We will take the call from a spouse who just left Corona Regional and needs a residential bed tonight.
The 15 between Norco and Jurupa Valley is the usual route. If the 15 is closed, admissions can suggest surface streets. Do not guess — call while you drive.
The drive from Norco
Norco is about 14 minutes from 7320 Rockridge Road. From Hidden Valley or downtown Norco, the drive is typically 12–20 minutes via Hamner, the 15, or Second Street corridors. For residential detox support, the limiter is a bed and medical fit, not the I-15, SR-60 drive.
Same-day arrival from Norco is realistic after a stable ER discharge — still call before you leave so the bed is actually open.
If Norco needs an ER first
Corona Regional Medical Center is the emergency department Norco families already name.
Residential detox is the first, shorter phase — not a 30-day rehab campus and not a hospital ICU. Norco families use this house when a residential setting is appropriate and a bed is open.
Riverside County coverage vs this bed
Norco is in Riverside County’s Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System. Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health Access for Medi-Cal / DMC-ODS authorizes county-contracted residential beds. Living Light Recovery is a private DHCS-licensed home at 7320 Rockridge Road, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509 — we verify commercial PPO plans; we do not issue a county authorization on a website form.
IEHP or another Medi-Cal plan is a different door from Anthem, Blue Shield, Aetna, or Cigna PPO. Call us with name, date of birth, and member ID, and call Access if Medi-Cal is the only coverage. Mixing those on one form is how Norco families lose a day.
What residential detox support actually involves
Residential detox is the first, shorter phase — not a 30-day rehab campus and not a hospital ICU. Norco families use this house when a residential setting is appropriate and a bed is open.
Living Light Recovery provides residential recovery services and does not directly prescribe, dispense, or administer medications. Healthcare evaluations and prescribing decisions, when appropriate, are made by independently licensed healthcare professionals.
One license, one street
If a listing pins “Residential Detox Support in Norco” to our name, ask for license 330247AP and 7320 Rockridge Road. A Norco map pin is usually a scraped city, not a second campus.
Adults 18+ only. The adult has to consent. We refer out when a hospital, locked psychiatric unit, or higher residential treatment is the honest next step.
What to bring from Norco

- Be honest about last use, including fentanyl, xylazine, or mixed pills if known.
- Plan the 14-minute drive on I-15, SR-60 after we confirm the bed — not before.

Questions
- Is there residential detox support inside Norco?
- No satellite. Residential Detox Support is delivered at our only licensed residence in Jurupa Valley (330247AP). Norco is a drive-time community — about 14 minutes via I-15, SR-60.
- When should Norco use Corona Regional Medical Center instead of driving here?
- Use Corona Regional Medical Center or call 911 for seizures, trouble breathing, chest pain, severe confusion, or if you cannot keep someone safe in the car. Residential admission is a later step after that workup.
- How many nights does residential detox support take if we start from Norco?
- The substance and the body set the nights, not the city. Alcohol and benzodiazepines often need the longer end of a few days to about two weeks. We will not invent a discharge date on this page. Read the duration guide, then call (909) 287-1444.
- Will Riverside County Medi-Cal pay for Living Light Recovery?
- Not automatically. Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health Access for Medi-Cal / DMC-ODS authorizes county Drug Medi-Cal beds. We verify commercial PPO benefits. Bring the card so admissions does not mix the two doors.
