Residential detox for Temecula and Southwest Riverside County

Temecula does not have a DHCS-licensed residential detox bed on Winchester Road. Living Light Recovery is the Inland Empire home we actually operate — one I-15 drive north, license 330247AP, admissions answered 24/7.

Southwest Riverside County has grown faster than its treatment infrastructure. Families in Temecula, French Valley, and Wine Country often get pointed to San Diego County programs or to a Malibu campus they cannot visit. We are a residential detox home in Jurupa Valley, not a hospital tower and not a second Temecula address invented for ads.

Temecula Valley Hospital on Margarita Road is the usual emergency stop for seizures, chest pain, or alcohol withdrawal that has already become unstable. If someone is in the ER, finish that workup first. When a residential bed is clinically appropriate and open, admissions can talk through a same-day transfer up the 15.

Temecula sits in Riverside County’s Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System. If the only coverage is Medi-Cal through Inland Empire Health Plan or another county plan, call Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health Access in parallel with us. We verify commercial PPO benefits at no cost and will say clearly when a county-contracted bed is the better next step.

Old Town tasting rooms and the Promenade are not a clinical setting. If drinking or pills have stopped being social, the conversation we need is about substances, medical history, and whether our 18+ residential program can keep someone safe — or whether they need a hospital medical unit we do not operate.

Getting here from Temecula

From Old Town Temecula or Promenade Mall, take I-15 north through Murrieta and Lake Elsinore. In light traffic the run to Rockridge Road is about 50–65 minutes; Friday wine-country traffic and the 15/215 split can add 20 minutes.

Primary routes: I-15, I-215, SR-79. The licensed address is 7320 Rockridge Road, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509.

If someone needs an ER first

  • Temecula Valley Hospital (Temecula) — common first stop for acute withdrawal
  • Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta — closer for some French Valley families
  • Riverside Community Hospital (Magnolia Ave) — if already north on the 15/91

Do not trust a second address

  • We do not have a Temecula storefront. Any map pin in Old Town or on Winchester is not us.

Local access notes

  • Typical drive: I-15 north, then SR-60 / local roads to 7320 Rockridge Road, Jurupa Valley 92509
  • SW Riverside County Behavioral Health Access for Medi-Cal / DMC-ODS
  • Admissions: (909) 287-1444, 24/7
  • DHCS license 330247AP — verify on the DHCS facility search, not a directory listing

Questions from Temecula

Is there a Living Light Recovery in Temecula?
No. The only licensed residence is in Jurupa Valley. This page exists because Temecula families actually drive that corridor, not because we opened a second home.
Should we go to Temecula Valley Hospital first?
Yes if there is seizure risk, chest pain, confusion, or you cannot keep someone safe at home. Call 911 in an emergency. We are a residential program that coordinates with licensed clinicians; we are not an ER.
Does Temecula wine-country traffic change pickup plans?
Weekend I-15 congestion is real. Admissions will pick a window that matches bed availability and a realistic drive, not a promise that ignores the 15.
